I have been a fan of Silversun Pickups for 36 years and finally had the chance to do a meet and greet. I purchased the Wheels Up meet and greet with Steven and Joe for myself and my best friend. The package included 3rd row seats 4 & 5. The meet and greet was quick, lasting maybe 20 seconds, where I met them, hugged them, got my picture, and then was hurried out the door. Despite the rushed experience, it was still amazing. It left me with mixed emotions as I exited the tent. I was so excited, but it hardly felt like a "meet and greet". I was hoping that our 3rd row seats would be the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, due to a catwalk, our seats might as well have been in row 20 with our view obstructed by their backs. Steven only came to our side of the stage once, while most of the time he was at the end of the catwalk. Throughout the show, I fought back tears, trying to be grateful for the opportunity, but it was difficult. Spending $2500 only to leave in tears was disheartening. The show itself was said to be amazing, which is no surprise given how fantastic the band is. However, I couldn't bring myself to fully enjoy it.
